I started riding from the age of 7. During the early years I had the usual mix of naughty ponies, then moved on to horses. I never competed during my pony years; for the first few years of riding I had never been outside of an indoor school!

When I got into my teens, I had horses on loan, and then saved up to buy my first horse, Hamish, a 16’3 Clydesdale X TB.

I started my career based at a National Hunt racing yard in the West Midlands, where I worked as a work rider until moving to the British Racing School in Newmarket.  Once moving on from Newmarket, I obtained my BHSAI at Pine Lodge Riding Centre based in Epping, Essex.

I have been a Metropolitan Police mounted trainer, and have worked with some of the top horses in the country, from grade a show jumpers to advanced medium dressage.

Nowadays I can be found based in North Essex, (Braintree) still working with some of the top horses and people in the business.  I work with all horses and riders to improve them both, and to take them forward.  I will travel throughout Essex, Suffolk, some parts of Norfolk and some parts of Hertfordshire.
