I started my career with horses in 1993 where I was based at a National Hunt racing yard in the West Midlands. I worked there as a work rider until moving to the British Racing School in Newmarket. Once moving on from Newmarket, I obtained my BHSAI at Pine Lodge Riding Centre based in Epping, Essex. At this time I was the youngest person to achieve the AI qualification.
In 1995 I joined the Metropolitan Police as one of the trainers for there mounted branch where I spent 2 years training horses and riders to deal with all aspects of their role from attending football matches to riot control.
Since leaving there I have worked as a freelance trainer with some of the top horses and riders in the country. This has included grade A show jumpers to advanced medium dressage horses and riders.
Since October 2009 I have been based in Braintree, North Essex which is on the borders of Essex and Suffolk, still working with some of the top horses and people in the business. I have continued to work with all levels of horses and riders to help improve them to achieve the highest possible level.
